I just heard my car from the outside under heavy acceleration for the first time. It sounds glorious. Inside you only get to hear anything if you absolutely floor it. It's nice to know that those on the outside get to enjoy it a little too. I'll try to post a sound check at some point. Until then, here's one someone else did, albeit not with stock exhaust.

awesome! but that's a 09 instead of a 99. Most videos are of the A4 with the 2.8 and they sound ok with just the resonators removed

Mine is too loud to record on my phone or with any camera I own. Sounds brutal, but I can never show anybody.

They did a lot more soundproofing on the VF from the VE so its too quiet inside.

Before I got the A8, I drove a 2003 A4 that was a 3.0 V6 manual. It had aftermarket exhaust and it sounded phenomenal.

Nice, I like what Walky has done with their W310 pack on mine, I get a nice snap crackle and pop that wasn't there before. Also upped the power to 415 hp to bring it inline with the export model.

Is it wrong if I like the way mine sounds inside more than outside? Inside I get to hear the transmission gears making supercharger noises.
