Went out with a girl to the countryside. I told her I wanted to get the car up to speed a little. She was very fond of me and told me she had car sickness and hated speed, but came along anyway. So far so good, I drove carefully, until it was time to head home. I merged onto a busy road and started overtaking lorries while avoiding oncoming traffic, forgetting what she told me.
She never returned any of my calls to this date.
Any similar stories?

probably, but it was worth it. I didn't like her that much and I didn't want to break her heart anyways

My girlfriend gets insanely carsick, so I was a little concerned about that when we first started dating. It actually turned out much better than I expected. She likes cruising around in the 2002 sometimes, but we usually take her Lexus (the Jeep is too bouncy for her and the if I don't consciously shift extra smoothly, she'll get carsick). I don't mind. Saves me on gas!

You totally squandered an opportunity to use "Autos before hoes"
Keep this post in mind should you ever feel the need to join in the ranks of young Opponauts writing late-night novels wondering why girls won't go out with you

Cars before hoes indeed. Just think, how long would you want to be with a girl if every time you went driving she didn't let you have any fun? Gotta have similar interests.

You could like, y'know, go driving with someone else or on your own sometimes.

On one occasion, I realized that I had to make a u-turn. It was fairly slick on the road with fresh snow, so without thinking that my date may not appreciate it, I did what any self-respecting opponaut would do and pulled an e-brake turn rather than a 3-point. (No other cars in sight, of course)
She said that she was okay, and I seemed like I knew what I was doing. We didn't go out again, but there were other determining factors for that in both parties.

For some reason girls trust me in my car. Maybe they're all crazy. No airbags, useless seat belts. 40+ year old metal. IDK.

My girlfriend won't ride with me on long car trips anymore, something about the harsh suspension making her need to pee all the time.
I'm planning on buying coilovers soon too.
