Well, the only problem is this, it doesn't have any more seats than my current 2 door Montego, and looks like a snooooooooooze.

EVEN MORE SO

I paid the same amount for my Montego. Which is an MX (higher trim level) and a Cyclone GT package, with original window sticker from the dealer.

And a better color lol.

Same engine but without my upgrades.

I like where you're going here, but I think the current Montego is a better family car! It does seat 6 with dual bench seats.

Thanks for the bait though, it's hard to find these in ANY format on CL or even Hemmings/AutotraderClassic/Ebay

Sure I can buy every engine piece, but I'm on the hunt for a new drivers side window regulator, yikes.

And I can't find a couple trim pieces anywhere.

I could use the front right wheel trim and his steering wheel. So glad mine has the vinyl seats tho, those cloth ones did NOT age well

BTW with it being the same cost as mine, I would NOT buy.

Mine being a 2 door and a Cyclone Package make it worth so much more. I'll take some rust and no carpets over a boring 4 door.

Yea mines a bit rough. I mean he has carpet lol.

same engine without my upgrades. He currently has an F code. I turned my F code into a J code by changing over to a 4 barrel (that was pretty much the whole difference I believe) and then added on my Edelbrock Intake. Plus my exhaust. So I'm in a much different performance level than him. And trust me it's a HUGE increase those 3 changes, don't forget mine started this way. He doesn't show under the hood so I can't confirm whether he has a Cyclone or not, but I doubt it.

once I get my floors patched up and carpet, we're pretty much in the same position. Except I have a more rare car that handles a lot better.

that's certainly a possibility, I don't think it was anything drastic though.

There were plenty of higher performance engine options above the 302, so they didn't need to push it that hard.

There was ONE car that was almost worth turning mine into a donor car for. I found a Cyclone Shell for 2k down south, so no suspension or engine or anything. Could have swapped my engine and everything into it and carried on!
