This is actually asking the entire(read as those who choose to read this) Oppo community to again help me with a situation. I'm too indecisive to pick my own color in this instance. So I'm asking you all to PICK THE COLOR FOR ME! Which color would you all pick if you knew you had to: UPDATE: I'm Going With the Blue!

1. Drive the car daily.

2. Park it outside essentially every day.

3. Wash it only once a week in the summer/spring/fall and wash it about once a month in the winter.

I didn't know it was a regular thing to do this? I was actually considering starting daily polls for fun; what color? what gen of a certain car? what Porsche?

Figured it'd help me fit in more with the community here rather than make a small post here and there once a month...

That would be hilariously fun. I didn't make polls, people always gave crazy (read: awesome) answers and provided pictures of a car in that color. One dude posted brown exclusively every single day for months.

I own a Mk2 Focus ST in Frozen White, it looks fantastic, but it doesn't get washed that often so it does show quite a lot of dirt at the moment, my brother's black one is the same.

I always liked the Ford performance blue.

BTW, I don't know where they get Oxford white from, Oxford is a shade of blue.

I voted Tangerine for the OP, but I'd have one in black. Looks menacing, but also a little more sleeper-ish. And black makes a car look smaller.

I'm fine with smaller looking. I do like the Performance Blue as well. The only color I don't "like" is white.

My Mazda 3s hatch was black. Hatchbacks can look a little bloated in lighter colors.

Tangerine Scream. I got an STI in grey and to this day I regret not getting it in WR Blue. Also NEVER get a black vehicle. They look awesome when they are clean and waxed. But by the time you get done waxing it, the side you started on looks like shit from all the dust on it. Plus black on a truck that gets used as a truck shows every single scratch and chip.

I'm typing on my phone and realized that was all running together. But it's a pain to fix it so I left it. I stand by black cars being impossible to keep clean. Grey and white are boring to me.

Get the color you want, not what you think everyone else wants is my advice.

That's kinda the problem, I like all of the colors, I don't know which of those colors I want to live with. Each color has it'son unique pros and cons; I'd be happy with any color and that's why I cannot decide on a color.

I picked Performance Blue and haven't regretted it one bit in the year and a half I've had the car. I originally ordered the Tangerine Scream, but as the ST3 HID issue became apparent and the delay inevitable, I picked up an ST2 off a dealer lot and specifically looked for a blue one. Yellow is a bit too extroverted for me and too much of a cop magnet.

My take on the other colors: white - I kinda dig now, even if it does miss...something (gasp, could it be, oh, COLOR? :D). Black - not bad, even if it looks even worse in the winter; that said it gets hotter in the summer and very few small cars can pull off black without the "look at me, I almost look like a BMW!" attitude. The Focus ST does the job...just. Silver is mind-numbingly boring. Red is just not my cup of tea on anything.

That said, if there had been a British Racing Green or some other such offering (hell, even Gotta Have It Green would do, because RS), I would probably get that.

There isn't one anymore - it was in the early days of the ST and it was a supplier issue after the tsunami. Although do a google search on HID recall, I believe the ST3 fell under that. Should be fixed on new cars, though.
