i have never seen a corolla wagon in the wild until last week. I can't explain it. I'm surprised seeing how it is the appliance of all appliances. A wagon that never breaks.

That generation Corolla is awesome as fuck. I have seen those wagons, before.
Also, don't miss the 3rd-gen Camry wagons with TWO rear wipers AND a third seat!!!! The best car ever made and room for 7!

It's an appliance, but a useful one.

Wouldn't it be the box the appliance came in? Or is that a Scion xB? haha

Id like one for the commute car. Id could literally last a whole career or more.

Fun fact: The Camry wagon of the same vintage had dual rear wipers.

You haven't? Am I right in guessing later generations weren't offered in the US?

Funky as hell. Almost makes the car desirable.
Almost.

Correct. None of them came here.

Would buy just for that.

Correct. The last one actually looks awesome though, and I normally hate new Toyota styling.

Well we had the Corolla Matrix.

I have to admit I consider the new one (named Auris in Europe, the Corolla is mostly retired) to not look hideous at all, which is a huge win for Toyota. But just wait until you see the rear end of the hatch. I think it's one of the worst rear end designs in years. Luckily everyone buys the wagon here, so I don't have to look at the hatch as often.

Yeah, that's a hideous rear end
