I am taking linear algebra AND ordinary differntial equations. . . shit. Well wish me luck. Protip: next time look at the class name before deciding if it is easy or hard.

As one class? That blows.
I took both at the same time, but they were two separate classes. Linear was easy, Diff Eq was tough. Couldn't do either today lol

This isn't stereotypically Indian.

Yeah, I didn't know they offered it here. I looked at my schedule and signed up for the class, thinking I would take Linear first and then take diff eq. Either way, I will end up being one class ahead of myself now. So that's a plus.

It's all good, it works out. I end up having to take one less class. I just have to learn a lot more.

LA and ODE/PDE were four credit classes @ PSU and I took them at the same time to get them off my plate before I started my core Engr'g classes. That was a tough semester, but it was made better by having great (albeit hard) professors and super classmates that worked well together in study groups...

Yeeeeaaahh. . .we don't have that here. I am being taught by a TA that doesn't know how to teach and no one in my class talks to each other.

Well that's scary, I'll have to be extra careful if I choose to go to purdue.

I think you can take Linear algebra and diff eq. separately, OR you can take it in one class. Either way, you have to take it.

Just a matter of time before you start saying....
You need to get your nose in the material and your ass to office hours if you can't make sense of it...
Don't ask me for help b/c I took these classes many many moons ago...

If you pass this one...

Guuurl, I ain't never failed a class in my 3 years of college. Even the ones were I didn't show up to 2 of the 3 tests. . . I am like magic.

I was so lost for the first week but now that I know that it isn't just linear I think I am starting to understand things.

You're boned. Ask not for whom the bone bones, it bones for thee.

Don't say that :'( I still have a chance. It is part linear algebra as well!

Nice. I only ever got one C, and it was horseshit. Kept me from graduating with departmental honors too...

I got a C or above in 95% of my classes. I have a D in one class and I am retaking that this semester. THe only reason I got a D was because I gave up during the last half of class(switching majors)

...which is why I'm taking them over.
:/

Indians? Are you taking Indians over?
![]() 01/28/2014 at 19:49 |

No. Diff. Eq and Linear Algebra.

I see. . . well then. I must prepare myself. I shall not fail!!! I! SHALL! PASS! hopefully.

My dad is a pharmacist and his dad harvested sugar cane!!! It is not in my blood to do math. Although my mom was an econ major. . . but her dad was also a farmer.

Oh boy. Hope linear algebra at your school isn't as bad as at mine. I was forced to take it, and it was just taught horrendously here.
Wishing you luck.
