A personal friend of mine, would have turned 73 today. It was a big loss for the music world this past year to lose him.

Freedom as performed at Woodstock has got to be one of the greatest songs ever played. Too bad not enough people from my generation appreciate that type of soulful music. He's from a time when you couldnt question whether the music came from the heart.

yeah between him and Joe Cocker there is no question. Those guys had so much heart. I cant think of many people out there today in popular music who have it like that
