I thought it was hilarious (I also saved the picture immediately).

See this look on my face. This is the look I give you when I have no clue what you are talking about.

Agreed. Context would be nice for those of us who missed it.

I'm fairly sure it was a picture of him sleeping while someone held up a sign reading 'cunt' with an arrow next to his head, James May grinning in the background. I thought it was quite funny, myself.
(I get the impression that the quoted word is perhaps a mite more specifically offensive in the US than it is in the UK. Here, it's a fairly awful thing to say to or of somebody - though it can be, and often is, used both affectionately and as a joke - but isn't considered specifically offensive to any particular group of people.)

So he was asleep and is getting shit for what happened? That's like being in college and frat dudes drawing swaztika's on other people. Does that make them antisemitic? It's not even worth talking about.

I don't understand why people are pissed off at Clarkson. Its not his fault in any way, because I'm sure he isn't the one that posted it... If people are going to be mad about it, I'd say be mad at Hammond and May who are most likely the ones that did it.
Either way, I don't think people should be that upset about it. It's definitely crude but so is a lot of the stuff he/they say on the show, whether it be obvious or a more subtle quip buried in a metaphor. People should just see this and either laugh at it or move on, not dwell on it or make a big stink over it.

It didn't work. Can you google something else for me? How to google something for someone, I fail to understand the concept.

This reminds me of the time I learned what the word "cunt" meant. Needless to say, females do not like being called cunts. Needless to say, I still use the word. Alot. To describe people. It's just a fun word to call someone.

it's a term used much more loosely in the UK. Much more acceptance there (having said that it still isn't a nice word).

Clearly no one remembers the brilliant colorful language back in the high school cafeteria.
And i guess everyone who walks on the streets in any city will hear completely PG rated content... Yeahhhhh.
Peoples skins getting a little thin i think.

I'm offended by people who get offended too easily.

Nope. Not Joe Rogan.

I often think the people of American really need to grow a pair and stop getting so butt hurt over the littlest thing. Whatever happened to taking something like a man? The worst thing is when someone takes a firm point of view on something that totally doesn't involve them (like a middle east revolution or a practical joke played on a TV host).
