Ooooph...dat flying buttress turn signal tho...
Nice to see it didn't catch fire :D
Also, they make a big deal about how "end-of-life" reclaimable the car is. Apparently most of the carbon structure and aluminum are easily repurposed.

Soooo Sad. But, just being able to crash test an i8 is worth it.

My dad said to me today that he saw an i8 the other day and in his words: "without a doubt, the most beautiful car I've ever seen. Way ahead of Lamborghini and Ferrari..."
That's coming from a guy who hates BMWs

They're great looking cars no doubt, and the tech is great, but I decided to give up my place in line when I ultimately decided I couldn't deal with a 2-pedal car. Not yet, maybe in a few years.

What are you getting instead?

Nothing until the end of this year, but the current list goes something like:
Ferrari 550/575 (or 599 - but they only made about 20 6 speeds)
M6 GC
Z8
Aston V12 Vanquish (before 2011 when I believe they switched to paddles)
Happy to hear any other suggestions! I'd love to have a 4 place car, but 4 doors not required.

So you're not interested in the DB9 or DBS? Those were sold with three pedals as well. Both are 2+2's.
612 Scaglietti is a 2+2 and was sold with a 6MT. As was the 456 GT.
I can't think of anything else off the top of my head.

DB9 and DBS - yes. I have trouble following Aston's naming conventions, and I think they change over the years. Let's call it "new style non-Rapide Aston with 3 pedals and rear seats, probably not the one with the smallest motor but who knows". :)
456 is awkward to me. The 612 is a possibility.

I figured that was what you meant :) I don't think that even the pre-2011 Vanquish was offered with a 6MT. The V8 an V12 Vantage have 6MT's, but those are two seaters.

I might be swayed by this 456 which has the advantage of being near me and in a gorgeous color:

I hope you may or may not share pictures depending on if you get it or not.
If you know what I mean (or don't)

Of course I didn't bid on it. But if I did - sure, there will be pics, and probably videos coming back up the 1.
