Gave the Camry a wash, changed the oil and filter (looked fine for 1300 miles overdue), got the original spare out of the trunk and put in a newer than 1998 tire in there, added some bling and mounted my fire extinguisher in the trunk. Can never be TOO careful.
Oh, and I also trimmed the rubber floor mat where it was getting hung up on the clutch pedal. Been meaning to get around to it.

I read my manual and figured out how to set up the memory seats. That was annoying; every time I thought I had it all set up, it would restore to the previous owner's settings.

Replaced my water pump, had a wheel bearing replaced, going to replace my shocks, struts, and put in Eibach Pro-Kit springs.

Looks good. Well I just finally gave mine a wash and spent time with the wheels/tires. Had never dressed up the Blizzaks before, they were practically brown. Cleaned all the leaves out of the engine bay, topped off the oil and emptied out the catch can (yeah the 5.0 uses a little oil still). Would have felt great about the hours I spent except I found a ding in the rear quarter I didn't know about. Oh well it looks like an easy PDR repair, and I've been meaning to find a guy anyway.

Absolutely nothing. I need parts but I have no money and the parts I've ordered haven't arrived. The driveshaft shop is closed so I can't cut my driveshaft. I need an exhaust but the car doesn't drive. I need to do an oil change but nowhere in town sells zinc additive. I need a working Qjet carb so I can fit my shaker scoop under my hood but carbs are expensive. The list goes on and on.

Dipped my ugly winter wheel a month ago. 100k tune-up coming next week.

Managed to spray mud over the front left hand corner (going both forwards and backwards), hit 15000 miles and perfected the method to get the exhaust to bark in second. Practical stuff? Nowt.

Oh this is just too good. I mean wow. By friday (hopefully) I'll have the Alfa back with a rebuilt starter, new radiator and shield, new old stock SPICA fuel pump, new rings, a new head gasket, new valve seals, new rear shocks, and a new shift boot. Now Im' praying to all that is holy that no other problems will be found when the rear shocks are mounted and the shift boot changed, but seeing the way things are going that is most certainly going to happen. Goodbye Credit Score and hellooooo Capital Gains Tax.

I put new tie rod ends and sway bar endlinks on the stang. It made an amazing difference I like being able to drive without constantly making steering correctiosn and the clunking noise is gone and the front end feel much more planted. but it also pointed out just how crappy the rest of the car is.

I haven't done anything for the last month. I installed the headers saw they touched the oil pan and just let the car sit while I wait for the replacement ones.
Plus there is salt on the roads, that shit is like a death sentence. Thank god I live in a college town! Public transportation everywhere!

Get all the parts!!! Starting with some grippy tires!

I put fuel in it and drove it: the engine likes revs but my bank account doesn't.

I changed the fuel pump and axles in my Saab last week. On Monday I'm going to get new tires all around. She still desperately needs a bath. However, the snow and rain has been a bit hit and miss over here. When that is all done, I'll be getting back to working on my 240Z.

Oh I got some Kumho Ecsta 4x so Im good there. but they are terrible in the snow even with 120lbs of salt in the trunk.

No no no. You get grippy tires for the summer, so you can go racing. You get shitty tires in the winter so you can go drifting. You see?

my car has 90hp and an automatic I appreciate your enthusiasm and optimism but I am suffering from automotive depression and I want my car to die in a ball of fire and dont think it can rally or drift anyways.

You would be surprised what people bring to autocross. Some dude brought a Fiero with a bent cam and it was firing on 4 of the 6 cylinders. Still raced it. I also remember there being a bug with a subaru engine in it. It wouldn't rev past 4k because of an ECU.
Plus going racing would totally accelerate the cars downfall.

I just got through changing the battery. Stuffed an Autocraft Gold in it, nothing special. The previous battery was an AC/Delco 60 month from 2009, so it was due.
Next up, I wash it tomorrow, and hopefully get done drying it in time to clay it. Yeah, I know, not supposed to really do that stuff in the winter time but I've got leaf imprints from the ice left earlier this month that I need to buff out.
Then it's vacuum lines. All the vacuum lines. So many vacuum lines.

I made like a custom roof-rack for the Tahoe a few weeks ago. So today I tested it to make sure it would carry the boat (shitty cell photo below). The test was successful, so I took it all apart and coated it with bed-liner. Going to reassemble everything tomorrow. 'Twas a good day.

Replaced the starter motor on my 90 Miata. Sucked...
