Acura is really stepping up its game with the TLX in Pirelli World Challenge Championship. For this season Acura will be competing in the GT class up against CTS-V coups, Vipers, Audi R8's and Ferrari 458s. The TLX GT will be run by RTR racing, one of the best in World Challenge, and run SH-AWD with a Direct Injected twin turbo V6 engine. With chassis design and suspension work by HPD this is one built race car and if the Volvo S60 cars from K-PAX are any indication there is a real threat from these Acuras.
I honestly look forward to seeing them in action and hope RTR all the best this year.

Wow, it looks great all track prepped. Love to see how this does around a track.

Besides the Volvo, this AWD could write a new chapter in Pirelli World Challenge since the Audi RS6's of old.

As a street car I am totally disappointed in it, but as a race car I think it is rad. I really hope to see RTR do well, I have been a huge K-Pax fan with the S60's they run and I would love to see only 4 door AWD sedans in the first 2 rows.

I would love for KPAX to switch to the V60...because race wagon!

3 AWESOME things about this picture, first off the RS6 was a great car. Second that is the best paint scheme I have seen on an Audi, mostly due to how it blends at the fender flairs. Third...MICHAEL GALATI! He is a really great guy and amazing race car driver. He ran for Kia Racing for a couple years in both World Challenge and Grand Am, finished a race in the top 5 with a chunk out of his wheel spoke missing. I was PISSED he is off the team, but I hope all the best for him in WEC.

It's got some big shoes to fill. The ITR RealTime used to run is the most successful touring car in World Challenge history. I think the last time they dabbled in GT was with the NSX, so this is going to be fun.

I have a feeling that towards the back half of the year we are going to see a lot of TLX lead laps. It would be rad for RTR to run the new Accord Coupe in GTS, the ILX in TC and a Fit in TCB. But that may be too much to ask.
