All M3/4, blah, blah, blah, blah. The M3/4 comes out 6 months after the i8 and I know way more about it. The last official text released about it was the World Reveal at Frankfurt in September. If they're still shooting for March, they're going to miss since every dealer I've talked to has no idea when to expect the car or even when they finalize colors/wheels (everything is supposedly standard, no options). So much want, so little info.

The head of BMW america was interviewed on the Detroit auto show floor by autoline. I know he mentioned a delivery date - I want to say Julyish but don't recall exactly. Have a look for yourself.

It's one of those new automatic feature like drift control and burnout control, this way you never have to try and park like an ass again the car will do it for you.

How close are you to the dealers? They like to keep their cards to their vest and only tell a handful of their best customers so they can get a jump on the order list. Also try asking the premier BMW dealers, in my experience Rallye BMW normally is one of the first to get dibs.

I'm first on the list at my dealer, one of the largest in VA. Already sat down with the manager, put down a deposit, and got it in writing that first on the list, MSRP, right of first offer if I decide to sell, etc. We've been waiting on a options list but it looks like they're just making everything standard so I already told them to put in the order for Sophisto Grey, Carpo Amido (Black) interior, and the style-625 wheels. I'm still curious about what's the features are though: HUD, collision avoidance, etc.
