So for those very few people that recall, I was supposed to transfer from this tiny little school on the Lake in Michigan to the University of Oklahoma for the Spring Semester... Well that didn't happen. Disclaimer: Personal shit no one probably cares about.
I drove down there the day I got away from school up here and was getting everything set for housing and classes. Well before I got a chance to sign anything for housing I went to meet with an Engineering adviser that I had been emailing to clarify a few things. At which point I found out I was going to be a year behind in classes.... Yea not happy. Needless to say I then drove back home to Colorado for break and then straight back up to school in Michigan for this semester. Awkward...
Maybe it's just me being an awkward shit about it but I feel like a bit of a shit. I mean I told pretty much everyone I'm close to up here I was leaving and then shortly thereafter, oh yea just kidding. I'm coming back... Anyways, the relationship I was hoping to start that had been fouled by moving away, looks like that isn't gonna happen, few people I was decently close to seem to look at me with a constant "You're such a douche." attitude (which as accurate as it is comes for different reasons than before).
I dunno, almost certainly my overthinking shit. /Rant /WastingSpace

Chill out and give it some time. No use worrying about something you can't control.

Academic "advisors" have often caused me more pain than good.
I'm currently trying to transfer from a community college to a major university, and I transferred from a different major university to this community college a year ago; I definitely feel your pain.

School transfer are always cruel, but hey, school is better than work any day of the year. Find yourself a nice Engineering girl and since this is a car website, something to hoon.

Very true. Always had a problem pulling it off. We'll see how it goes this time around.

Hey there's a solid 2 attractive girls in engineering here, may as well take the swing right? Already got the hoon mobile happily. Got a WRX hiddin under a shit load of snow, probably gonna have to sell that though sadly. Turns out school and a car is expensive.

I've done this. I went to Mizzou for a year, community college in STL for a year and a half, now back at University of Missouri STL and I've constantly been screwed by advisors. It's almost as if half the advisors I've spoken to don't know what they're doing.

Small world, kind of... I went to SIU-C, came back to a community college in the Metro East, and I'm trying to go to Illinois next year.
And yeah, it kinda sucks when I know more than my "advisor" does.

Oh no, don't sell the car. And when it comes to girls, always use Babe Ruth's rule.

Sorry to hear about the bad times. Best thing to do is use it as a reminder that the only person you can really rely on to look out for your best interests is you and remember everything happens for a reason. Maybe you'll meet a nice cool chick this semester and be happy you never transferred out. You never know.
Were/Are you at LSSU?

Exactly.
And nope, Hope.
