I'm kind of wondering....
F1 engines next year will have a huge increase in energy recovery system capacity. This is all well and good but i'm thinking a small failure in any of these systems will be a disaster for the driver/team. I'm guessing a car can keep going depending on the failure (as they have in the past) but losing up to 30% of the engine power* and/or a non working turbo will make a car pretty much useless
*I'm not sure the actual numbers.Just going by vague memory of something i read

I hope F1 adopts fighter jet style ejector seats, where in the event of a catastrophe drivers are shot into the air and are parachuted safely back to earth. Then they can go easy on the other safety equipment and pile on the batshit crazy power and aero.

That's too risky. What if the ejector seat fails?
