And sat between just another storm, and what's working up to be one of the shittiest weather fronts in a while. The entire drive was literally 30-35 and sunny until I got into Michigan and hit snow. Was planning on leaving a day later too, looked up the weather report two nights before and shot for the window of opportunity. Should be a testament to leaving your travel schedule flexible. Oh and drive, don't fly.
Fuck flying.

Why fly somewhere when you can drive somewhere?

It's -50°F windchill here in rapid city SD. Let me know if you stop here on your way back.

Hahah fuck no. I'm up here in Michigan for school. I'm super glad I don't have to go anywhere for the next few days. We're supposed to get about a -30 degree windchill here tomorrow.

Yeah the temps suck. I bought a changing table and spend ten minutes figuring out how to put it in my Montero so the door would close - never have I ever been so cold in my life

Drove from Ann Arbor to New Jersey on Friday durning the snow storm. Was a fucking nightmare, 9.5 hours turned into 15... Almost got smeared across the road by semis and retards driving on summer tires. God damit people are fucking dangerously stupid sometimes.

Sounds about right. Driving in snow doesn't bother me THAT much. Driving around other people in the snow does.

Yup, we were find until people in front of see they're about to hit a frozen overpass and slam on brakes... Thereby sending them into a spin... Still leaves me cold just thinking about it.
