on the front page. Right clicking on it in Chrome yields only the Flash menu.

Anybody?

What are you referring to? Neither Oppo nor Jalopnik has an animated image on the main page.

Try pasting that into your Adblock Options. It also blocks the annoying related story boxes.

Thanks...will give that a try. I had been running another filter but it was blocking some images in replies in Oppo...
