FYI:

Bimmerpost has released some technical specs on the upcoming M3 / 4.

Summary: 430hp / 370ftlb, ~ 3306lbs curb

And yes, it has a 6 speed manual =)

3306 lbs curb? Did they replace all the panels with carbon? Impressive.

Edit - just checked a 335i weights in at ~3600 lbs. Not as bad as I thought.

The new M will weight less than the e46 M3!

Looks like the trunk (boot), roof, drive shaft, & front strut brace are all CFRP.
