I find myself fiercely loyal to my Corrado...

I never modified it once from beginning to end in that game.

I (stupidly) maxed it out once I got free upgrades but never drove it. Recently I decided to make it right and go put the original upgrades on it. It was a lot harder to find a definitive list of what upgrades it started with than I thought.

I sold that thing off if I remember correctly, too obsessed with getting a supercar. Before my rental was up I managed to get a CTS-V Coupe, Gallardo, Boss Mustang (the one you win in the race), a Raptor, and several barn finds. Love that game, now I wish I owned it.

That Corrado is probably one of the best starter cars I've seen in a racing game.
Usually, they have you start off in some cheap car with relatively little power.
But not in Horizon. Here, you get a Corrado. And not just any Corrado, but a VR6 model.
One of the best starter cars I've seen in a racing game since I started the original Need For Speed: Most Wanted with the Cobalt SS.
Even after I beat the game, I still use it. Upgraded to S Class, great for Tag and King modes online for that class.

I sold it and never looked back after I got the '11 WRX STI in blue pearl, which is one of the few "new" cars I really, really like. I still play it with my old A class tune when I sometimes go back to Horizon (which isn't often since Fourza is a lot more satisfying).

I got mine in the Plasma Blue. I've had to temper myself with the upgrades. I'm still doin B races and need it as a B.
