My lady went to Cosmic BINGO. (It's a real thing) It's too rainy for a top down cruise so I'm watching Indian Jones on TV with some pizza. I have no children under my care so I've also got a 30 rack of beer. Here's a photo of what my beers will be resting on.

The strange part is, I used to live in Cape May county NJ with a fairly limited Asian population but a good selection of Chinese food. Now that I live in Atlantic County NJ with a relatively large Asian population, no good Chinese. Good Thai, Viet, and Indian but not Chinese. Weird.

Sounds like my sitrep, but I'm with Aleyah, my 5-year-old and the wife left with the 3.5-month-old. I'm fine with that.

My favorite place to eat around here is a local Middle Eastern place at the mall... Pita Delights. The guy is pretty cool, came over from Lebanon, looks like Jean Reno from The Professional, and he makes a mean chicken shawarma. Sadly, he's going out of business at the end of next month, so I've been going there as much as I can afford/find time to lately. He knows I like to make Mediterranean food, and he's been giving me hints on what I need to make different things they sell there.

I love me some Med food...especially some lamb. They really know how to do lamb right, not too gamey, fire-cooked.

Pretty much my situation. My school has a very high Asian population, but my town doesn't. Yet the chinese food in my town is AMAZING!
