What's your best racing video game music?

I always loved car racing video games. And driving is always better if you have some cool guitar riffs and a good beat.

My first highlight was "She sells sanctuary" by The Cult, that was in Gran Turismo.

She Sells Sanctuary is SUCH an awesome song, especially during the Formula 1 series of GT3. If I heard that song right as qualifying starts, then I try to put in a Senna-fast lap no matter what. It just pushes all the right buttons.

I'll also recommend Digitalism's Encore, from Forza Horizon. The way it builds up, the choir in the background, and combined with Daft Punk-style electro and a bit of drum and bass thrown in, best driving music in the game.

The Euro release of GT2 has such crappy music I imported myself a US version which is pretty fantastic.

Interstate '76...I WIN

Pop the game disc in your CD player and you get like 15 songs of very high quality funk. In the car's you could change the radio station and it would change tracks. Probably a big reason why I'm stuck in the P Funk era.

As previously mentioned, Garbage's "I Think I'm Paranoid" featured on Gran Turismo 2 (best when driving the Suzuki Escudo Pikes Peak Version on the short circuit that lets you get up to the 250 mph max speed), and Pitchshifter's "Genius" featured on Test Drive 5 in the opening credits. I can't not drive fast with these songs playing.

This game had a really good soundtrack. Title song was the best of course, so fitting.

Airbourne - Too Much Too Young Too Fast was also a good song on that game!

Right... I was thinking of putting some of the songs suggested here on my car's iPod but maybe these song will cost me quite more in speeding tickets than the 99 cents on iTunes...

Already have Garbage on my driving playlist and I love that song but I wouldn't say it make me drive faster than usual...
