The sad fact is, Marc Bolan died in a car accident in 1977. His girlfriend was driving a Mini and crashed into a tree, killing Marc instantly. It is believed the crash was caused by low tire pressure. If you visit England, you can see the Marc Bolan memorial at the site of the crash.
