...praises "path of least resistance"
If I ever get an FRS, I'm swapping the badges for Toyota ones.

Swapping the badges for *Subaru ones. I always liked the Tc's looks and concept, but I'd only consider it if it was 1000 lbs lighter. It's a piggy Camry without even the utility of 4 doors.

I agree about the TC. It's a cool looking car. Needs more power.
But I actually like the looks of the FRS just slightly more than those of the BRZ.

I like the FRS's looks too. I like Subaru (as a company) far more than Toyota. So I'd be fine buying an FRS and putting BRZ badges on it.

But Toyota is actually doing something good with the GT86. I feel like I'd be cheering on that decision.

From what I've read over the years, most of the manufacturing, quality control, technology, design, etc. was Subaru's. The Direct Injection, marketing, and volume sales infrastructure was Toyota's.
Toyota still needs more than one collaborative sports car to win my heart!

I thought Toyota did the unibody.

This commercial makes me cringe even more than "grounded to the ground"
