The best movie I've ever seen from the Asylum!
Also, I've noticed some flood scenes are from stock footage from the Philippines!

But compared to 200 MPH and 2012: Doomsday, the Asylum did a bloody good job on this.

I haven't seen Sharknado, so I can't judge. I own 5 or 6 Asylum movies, my friends and I used to watch them for a laugh.
