I remember seeing someone bought a Kawasaki Ninja in Indonesia with pennies that he collects from his High School, totalling roughly 3,600 US$ . But i think this guy has gone mental..

I was once regaled with a tale by some missionary friends in... Indonesia perhaps? I don't recall. Anyway, at the time the economy was garbage, and the money was = to toilet papte, and as such car loans or even bank transfers were not trusted, cash only... wheelbarrows of cash. On their way to buy a new van for the mission they were travelling with literally suitcases full of cash and they saw a cop across a large roundabout and were sure they'd be pulled over (I believe the suggestion was they would be profiled as wealthy). Indeed as they got around the circle the cop indicated it was time to pull over and pay a fine/bribe, which typically was a portion of total available funds at that exact moment, which was much... lots... recall the suitcases? So they led the cop on a round and round tour of the round about, many laps were completed, whilst they stuffed every ounce of the cash into the seats, their jackets, pant legs, under the dash, just anywhere out of sight. When they eventually did pull over they paid their fine/bribe which by then was the entire contents of their wallet, only a few of the local TP bills.
True? Untrue? I dunno. But there you go.
TL;DR? umm... economy crap, money garbage, cop, fine, hiding, evasion, cop, fine, laughter. There you go.
