Some pages from the brochure have been "leaked" and there are only 6 color options?!
I know they are small but a slightly bigger version is !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! & !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! .
But where is BRG, or yellow, or blue?! I guess they will all just be red.

When Fiat first introduced the Abarth, there were only two choice: black or white. Now they have several choices. They will probably follow the same line of thinking for the 4C

I did not know that, and that is good to hear.

Blue adds too much weight, probably.

You can have any color you want as long as its these three color variations.

Ooooooooh Red on red on red on red on red on red....you get the point.

Better than the model T's options I suppose.

Red rimz are next

But blue is the best :(

They better be on the way or else I have no faith in Italy.

Wasn't aware I was so affected by the closely-spaced-holes-phobia (cannot remember the techincal name) until someone pointed it out on the 4C's headlamps a few months ago. I want to scratch my skin off just thinking about it.

It's an Alfa; red, grey, and black are the only colors necessary.

Hopefully in true Alfa style you'll only be able to buy it in colours it looks good in, and those'll be priced with the best-looking one cheapest, and a financial penalty for those who insist on making the car look worse.

Where have you gone, sweet beauty ? I hope there will be aftermarkets replacement kits that look like this. Not that I have the money to buy a 4C anyway, but I'd sleep better.

I want to see one in matte black so badly! It would make the headlights match, and would looks so badass. I like the regular black though.

I googled it. DO. NOT.

Honestly I am sorry if you click that though. Don't do it. I went through after I posted it. Worse than I thought.

Have a look at the paint options on their current models and tell me it's not true :)
There are configurators on alfaromeo.co.uk if you want to try.

That car would look hot in yellow or blue.

Poppycock, might I add.
![]() 08/27/2013 at 13:54 |

And since four of them are white and red, it's almost like there only 4 options.

Brera: modern, FWD Alfa, so I don't care.
GT: I can't argue with the beauty of that
Montreal: gets an exception because it looks best in the outlandish powder blues and lime greens
I stand by my original statement with small concessions. An Alfa shouldn't be BRG, though.

The yellow 8C doesn't look good, FWD Alfas don't count (they still look best in red, black, and grey), and the 105/115 cars can indeed pull off white and navy.

That's how I got so freaked out the first time. I was all anxious and messed up for like 2 hours afterward.

"An Alfa shouldn't be BRG" .... If a Jag can pull off French racing blue, I'm open minded.

Non-purists [—————I—————] Purists
me
I don't often agree with either group. On this one, I really just think that the classic Alfa color palette covers most Alfas pretty well. I also happen to think that the minimalism in palette fits the Alfa philosophy much better; the ability for any given heiress to order her 4C in green, yellow, or purple just wouldn't seem right.
It's a terrible way of looking at things, but as far as Alfa's go, I absolutely think that people looking to buy a new Alfa who don't buy into Alfa's history and philosophy (although with modern Alfas, what does that word even mean?) should be beat away with a large stick.

This is probably how things would work in an ideal world, but unfortunately that's not how it works. Car manufacturers need dumbasses who buy their cars just to show off without knowing anything about them, because these people are the most likely to buy expensive cars just to show they can. You can go as far back as you can, even Ettore Bugatti had to kick out potential customers who only wanted to buy his cars because they were expensive. Guess what happened to his company ? It sucks, but no brand has ever had a customer base entirely made up of fans and dedicated enthusiasts.
But still, I agree it's a good thing you can't order the 4C in pink or something like that. I would have liked a yellow one, though.

Alfas's (Fiat?) been trying the whole appealing-to-the-general-public thing for 15-20 years now, and it's provided for mediocre results at best. I think it's time to take a shot at returning to their roots a little bit, which I think echoes their US re-entry strategy and what many in the industry think is the right choice. Not sure the limiting color choices is actually all that important in that scheme, but hey, it's fun to be pedantic.
Then again, I'm just a crotchety douchebag that happens to own an Alfa, and while I'm perfectly willing to dissociate my emotions from every other fiscal/business consideration when discussing cars, I'm perfectly happy to be completely, emotionally unreasonable when talking Alfas.

And it's your God-given right as a petrolhead and an Alfisti, good sir. Looks like your wish will come true, actually, since they will be reverting to an all-RWD lineup in a few years' time. By the way, what Alfa do you have ? I'm betting is red, RWD, sporty and relatively old... Spider ? GTV6 ? Giulia maybe ?
![]() 08/27/2013 at 16:03 |

It's a black (for what it's worth, I think Milanos look weird in red, ha) 2.5 Milano. I was DDing it, but now that I'm not, I'm considering with replacing it with a Giulia GTV at some point.

It's the same car that was called the 75 in Europe, right ? If so, you're right, they look better in black.

That's the one. The insane rear-end needs the, uh, slimming qualities of black.
