The total was 18 reco's in the last 6 hours while I slept. I must have rustled some Jimmies yesterday.
After that screenshot, I got another one on a post that had a total of 17 alone. Adding up all of the recommendations in the last 24 hours, including the two main oppo posts I made, puts the total around 50.
The commentariat is like a giant content-sifting service for Gawker now.

Pretty much, don't complain too hard, or you'll find yourself with 80+ recommends from multiple people clicking recommend on every post you made in the past few months.

Thankfully almost (95-97%) of all of the replies were positive. The community is great, but it makes me wonder what Gawker actually does with the recommendations.

Yeah, I had a few oppo articles that have gone to the FP, and then it just gets stupid. This is the first time I've gotten a lot of recommendations from just comments though.
