I get my B1-Class lisence!
In Indonesia you need that to drive something heavier than 3.5 Tonnes.
Anyway, this is the bus that helps me get that lisence. She got the coolest name I ever heard: Golden Dragon Scorpion King 300. Really.
The bus has Front engine, rear wheel drive, 300hp and 800lb-ft of torque from 9L Inline-6 engine. 0-60 takes arround 30 seconds, top speed at 80mph.
And ya, it feels like a huge van. Altough it's equipped with ABS, braking is still take a huge distance. Turning circle is massive altough helped by electronic power steering. But the ride is awesome.

Always thought driving a bus would be fun. Also, is it as hard as it seems?

You took a test... in that? I'd be terrified. Congrats!

Congrats on passing, that thing is a monster. I get a little white knuckled driving anything over 5000 pounds.

Congratulations! And wow, what a huge front overhang that bus has! It must feel especially strange sitting that far in front of the front axle.

It is fun, because it's big. And the only hard thing in driving bus is the size, makes you think twice to perform a manuver,

Thank you!
It's not really terrifiying, to be honest.

Ya. The overhang is so huge, until you can actually feel the wind passing under the body if youturn off the self-leveling suspension..

Thank you!
Just try to drive a S-Class mercedes. They are generally heavy saloon. Even my W140 weighs 4500lbs, which is massive.

>9L Inline-6
You're doing it wrong, Indonesia.
Note: The even-numbered buses (4xx, 6xx) for this school district use a 7.2 liter Caterpillar I-6 engine, whilst the odd and double-digit (5xx. 7xx, 1x, 2x, 5x, 6x, 7x, 8x) use the 5.9 liter Cummins engine.

The 300 stands for how many horsepower it makes.
There's also the 380 version powered by 12L i6. And the 420 powered by 12L i6, but has a bigger turbo.

What inspired you to do this? Congrats btw

I always want to drive a bus or a RV since i was a toddler. So it's like a dream come true.

Though you don't need MORE than 7 liters just to make more than 276 Horses. Hell, The Duramax, Powerstroke and Cummins are well within the 6 liter class and they produce more than 300 horses.

Well, i think it's between we need big engine for more torque or the chinese just wants to burn more fuel.
The engine is made by a random chinese company called Golden Dragon.

Call us, we'd be happy to ship Cummins engines for a small fee!

Nah.
We already have lot of engines sold in here. There's Mercedes, Scania, MAN, Hino, Hyundai, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Renault, and many other chinese knock-offs. Altough The Cummins would be awesome!

That's a cool selection, but can they do this?
