Pierre Tissier is the man behind the transformation of many Citroën sedan into ambulances, vans and car carriers. Yes, car carriers. Tissier modified many Citroën including the one you guys like so much, the DS and the SM.

Does the DS up top retain it's magical hydropneumatic suspension? To me, that would definitely be worth the expense (especially for hauling around precious cargo like said Cobra)

I believe so, but I'm not sure. But Tissier also made 6-wheel van which were made using hydropneumatic axle.
