I went to the Milwaukee Masterpiece today. I have a TON of photos for all of you. I will be dumping them soon as well as another posting for a particularly beautiful car I encountered while I was there.

That's probably the same 12C my buddy sent me a pic of. He was there with this dad, displaying some old Harley bikes. I was gonna go, but had to pack for our move this Friday. That, and admission was $20 per adult, and I'm a cheap-ass.

It is actually the same one. I got several pics of it and a start up and rev video as they were putting it away. I was lucky enough to be given a free ticket in the parking lot by some kind strangers that were leaving....and when I walked up to the gate as the awards ceremony started I managed to convince them to let my girl in for free. I also got some pics of your friends old bikes :)

Masterpiece was AWESOME this year. We happened to be coincidentally following a similar path as a man and his father who we ended up seeing again in the parking lot (where as good a car show existed outside the gates!). They drove there in their NSX, which was absolutely flawless. Not to mention the lancia in the lot as well.

Haha yeah I see that nsx around cathedral square all the time! The lot was amazing! 2 alfas a lancia a phantom a viper srt there was an ftype for a bit... not to mention the countless others... after the show on sunday I had the luck of running into the mclaren mp4 as it was being put away...got some great video of a start up and rev :)

man I wish I was there for the startup of that. Didn't get a chance to see the ftype.

After Masterpiece we went over to Miller park to watch the autox, which was cool in itself. We had normal autox goers on one side of us, and another course set up on the other side for people to pay to drive either a Gallardo or an F430 and man when those go full throttle it is something to see.

Oh yeah the Dreamcar sprint was last weekend. I forgot about that. My friend actually did it. he chose the f430... im not sure I would have made the same choice but who knows. I have been meaning to give AutoX a try with my SVT focus. just havent made my way out there yet. The dream car thing is going to happen again on the 6th of September. Also, I dont know if you are in the area this weekend with all of the Harley shit going on but there is going to be a HUGE Cars and coffee in lake mills from 8-3 on sunday. I will be there showing off the families 75 Costworth Vega. If you make your way out their and see my car stop by and introduce yourself.... I can guarantee it will be the only Cossy there.

I may be out of town unfortunately this weekend, but if not I'll bring my friend with his 04? Gto.

I really appreciate the information though, I have trouble keeping up with local events and would love to see the cos.

I had an internal debate which I would choose. The Lamborghini had a better sound and more reckless attitude on the course, but I think there f430 may have been the quicker car. Ultimately, the gallardo would likely be my choice.

I totally agree on the Gallardo... although a tame lambo it is still more bat shit than the F430. and although it might not top out as high, its not like your gonna pull that thing past 100 in miller parks lot.... nor are you allowed to...although they cant MAKE me take my foot off the gas.

LOL yeah but you'll need to by the end of that straight, a few guys took it a bit too fast and were squealing pretty well going into the corner. My buddy may take the GTO out to the autox, I'll likely be along as well
