Welcome to Design Study, where yours truly analyzes the design of a car.

Today's stunner:the Camal Studio Tributo.
This beauty is designed by the cool folks at Camal Design Studio. Who are they? They're "new" in design studio terms(5 years old is way younger than Pininfarina's 80 plus years). Their concept is based on the Maserati GranTurismo.

Specs are as follows: 0-60 takes 4.9 seconds, top speed of 185, 450 HP, 375lbft of torque.

Now my verdict on this car(on the Jalopnik design scale) is a 9.75(with only the 8C, Lamborghini Miura surpassing it) Why? I mean its a fresh looking car, while evoking the classic Ghibli, the Ferrari Daytona, with a hint of Bertone edge. As of yet no prices have been announced. This is sad, I can think of 500 people who have class who would buy this car in a minute( Leo DiCaprio, Morgan Freeman, Denzel Washington, Idris Elba, Gweneth Paltrow, Kate Middleton. Etc).

And maybe it won't in real life, but that side vent looks a little tacky, maybe a bit too chrome-y

Can't really see the front end, but from here it looks like a wrong thing pasted on. Like an old Gallardo face grafted on the only good-looking Maserati.
