Do you know how hard it is to find a picture of a trans am that I haven't posted before?

Same question, but replace "trans am" with "Z31".

My friend's dad has a '78 Trans Am 6.6 sitting in his garage collecting dust. Hasn't run since '88 I think, kinda sad.

You should rescue it!

On second thought, I think its actually a '79. Same deal. Anyway, nah I can't. He loves the thing, and won't get rid of it. He just can't restore it until his wife lets him. His wife will let him once she gets all the furniture she wants, so basically its never getting restored :V

A '79 with the 400 (not 403) is a pretty rare bird. The value is starting to go up on them now and it deserves to be restored (or at least cleaned and haven pictures taken of and posted on oppo :P)

I'll have to check the year and engine on it. I know it says 6.6 T/A on the hood scoop though. The T-Tops leak, the windows are down, and if you try to hook up a battery everything starts smoking. Not good, and that makes it hard to clean. I did find a few bodies in the trunk though

Awww, that stinks, the wiring on those things are a nightmare. The 6.6 T/A means it is a 400 (6.6. Litre is for the 403), it would be a cool car.

The engine bay is full of shotty duct tape work that scares me. Also, it smells like old bbq sauce. I also found some baby making music in the tape player, pretty great.
