Some of you may not have seen this video from a couple of years ago of one of our own, Dalton, while having dental procedure.
Why did I post this? In a couple of hours I'm going to have to have a dental procedure, either a root canal or an extraction due to a fractured tooth. I've got myself pretty worked up over it, and I'm a nervous wreck. I'll just be having novocaine. I won't be doing any hooning.

Get the laughing gas. It is like getting a good beer buzz, but you're never out of it. Not like Dalton. I also did not realize that this was a fellow Jalop. That makes the video even more epic.

I'll ask the dentist. I think Jalopnik even posted this as a story and it was on several other automotive blogs.

I had a root canal in Mayish. My wife told me to just get the nitrous. I did. It was awesome. They run you on Oxygen before they start to finish up so that your head is clear when it is time to leave.

I don't know about any of it other than the novocaine shots. I just want it over with.

Yeah I felt the same way. Nervous as heck. They did such a good job I'm not worried if I ever have to have another one.

Get gassed. Novocaine doesn't work on me, so my dentist says if I ever need anything major done, they'll break out the NAWWSS.
I learned the hard way last time I had some work done. They shot 'caine into my gums like 6 times, waited for half an hour, and I still felt it.
I was like "fuck it, just do it", and the big manly man that I am just laid there and took the pain.
Sucked.

I've had novocaine before, and it worked. I don't know if they'd give me anything else, as I'm driving. We'll see how it works out.

Awesome video! I haven't seen it before. He was on quite a long straight away there!
Novacaine works great on me as far as I can't feel anything at all, but you're still awake obviously, so you have to put up with the unpleasant sight, sound, and smell of everything. I've only been knocked out once, and that was for impacted wisdom teeth extraction, which is serious oral surgery. I hope the whole thing is as quick and painless as possible for you.

Thanks, GreeN_Gold. I woke up at 3:30 this morning and started fretting about it. Needless to say, I didn't go back to sleep. It has been a long morning.
