I tailgated someone today

Because the had a sign on the back of their car that I wanted to read. It has the portion of MI state law about turn signal us on it, hahaha. So anyway this asshole proceeds to brake check me. So what do I do? I put my LEFT turn signal on and pass him on the right. He was very upset with me, lol. (traffic was light, nobody was affected by my incorrect signaling, except for this assholes blood pressure).

He tailgating me and rapidly switched between left and right turn signals to make his point.

Seriously, don't print that small and expect me not to tailgate to be able to read it.

Brake checking is a mortal sin, and often employed by small-minded I Am Always Right and The Law Is On My Side bad drivers, as opposed to run of the mill morans. The confluence of the sticker and the brake check is no coincidence.

More over, for someone who is apparently into safety and turn signals - brake checks are NEVER appropriate in any situation and if there was room for you to pass on the right, he was over to far to the left.

Nailed it. I was being tailgated today in the left lane going 75 in a 55. Stayed put. If he wanted to go faster he could go around. Which he did. Go for it man.

haha. I enjoy getting him pissed off, is that bad? I'd also like to post the state law pertaining to exceeding the speedlimit on his window, he blew past me at 85mph a little later. But he did use his turn signal to pass me, then cut in front of several cars to get off at the same exit as me, but it's ok to go from 85 to zero in front of 3 cars if you use your signal.

He followed the letter of the law he felt like following! And that's what matters to most! And no I don't think it's bad to enjoy it. there's a lot of locations around metro detroit where I know these cars travel the same stretch of road EVERY DAY and try and pretend they don't know that left lane is ending, even though they've had 7 signs leading up to it. That pisses me off. And then they don't even use a turn signal to try and get in. Those are the ones that I don't mind blocking out. If you made a mistake (and I didn't see you do it yesterday in the same car at the same time), especially if you have an out of state plate, and more over if you just use a blinker I'm always happy to let you in.

Couldn't agree more.

My MkV R32 has CRAZY powerful fluid jets for the windshield, along with the headlamp washers, so its a spray that easily gets people behind and beside me.
