Please tell me that's a picture from the 70s when those cars were racing.

The way they're both sitting reminds me of this video.

Don't worry. They can be rebuilt!!! Also cars are meant to be driven, race cars are meant to be raced!

It's just sad to see it wrecked. One of my favorite Trans-Am cars.

This is true. At road america a GTP Nissan ZX-Turbo crashed. . . I was pretty bummed that I wouldn't see it race.

Far better one of the old muscle cars which have an entire dedicated industry that's reproducing parts*.... than a one off race car from the 60s or a multi-million dollar Ferrari.
* For the Ford/Dodge/Chevy stuff at least. Thank heavens this wasn't a Javelin. Pretty much nothing is being made for them anymore.

Very true, you can buy a whole new body for one of those cars, although they'll need to be tweaked, since Trans Am cars have fender flares/changed lines that differ from the street cars.

True enough, though I wouldn't be surprised if someone is repro'ing those as well, given the popularity of the whole resto-mod/pro-touring thing.
