They sounded nice. . . but they were still a bit too seemless, they still had that nice pop though.

The pops sounded fantastic in person. Then again, I saw one in Chicago, so the reverb off the buildings probably enhanced the sound a bit.

Purdue West Lafayette. Good school, cars are pretty sweet too. Outside my apartment are 2 GTRs and an M3.

Someone should organize a C&C on campus there. I can imagine it would be a fantastic show!

I didn't see it as the car was a couple hundred yards away, but I think so.

You say that, but the annual purdue car show doesn't bring out much of the local exotics. A few of them came, but the vast majority were missing. I sense that this is badge snobbery at its best. . . sometimes, other times they actually like the cars.

I'm glad to see he is finally using the car for its intended purpose - creating eargasms.

Well, there is a car show every friday night at McDonalds, and we had a good turnout at my school's car show a week after the students left. The key is to have good advertising, something the PAPA show did not do well. I wager a C&C could be successful, it would just need to be promoted (have the Tv station do a promo clip, flyers on campus and passed out at car shows, etc.).
Heck, my neighborhood had a C&C once

Well there is one in Indy, which I feel like is a better location as it has a higher population. Hopefully the crowd will be just as nice. Getting a bunch of 20 some year old guys together with cars, just seems like a bad idea to me. . . And friday night car show?

It's small and at the mcdonalds in Lafayette off of sagamore next to maaco.
Oh, did you know there is now a Ford GT lurking around? I've seen it parked at stores a couple times.

Hot damn. . . once my car stops being ultra noisy I am going to go exploring. Ford GT in the area. That excites my pants.
And hey a car show is a car show. I might stop by if I A) remember and B) have the time.

Generally I am not doing anything Friday night, sometimes though I might have to meet with someone to do something school related. It all really depends.

I saw a 599 GTO in NYC last time I was there. Just off Central Park in downtown it sounded like Bach playing in Symphony Hall
