Being a big fan of classic Ferraris I often get asked on twitter if a Ferrari that they have seen is real or a replica? In the picture one of the cars is Ferrari 330 'GTO' chassis 4561 Sa and one isn't..... !

I'm saying the bottom one is a Rep, the front logo looks like its a decal/sticker, and the tires just don't look correct to me.
HOWEVER...my brain says the red one is, because red is obvious Ferrari color and all that.

Not sure picture was tweeted to my saying what a lovely Ferrari was. Sender seemed genuinely disappointed to find out it was a replica!

I don't know where to start.
Short wheel base,
The side window shape is a total modern car givaway,
a pillar is a modern style,
windshield wipers are a modern size,
Just too much to list!

I think that my first guess may actually be right!

Question: why aren't there any tube chassis kits like there are for Cobra Daytonas? Seems like it wouldn't cost any more and there are a number of engines and donor cars that could work. He'll, you could probably just sell a different fiberglass shell for the Daytona and call it good (maybe a straight six instead of a V8).

When I saw that black abomination, I thought it was so ugly, I thought that it was a trick question

I doubt many people want to invest too much in building Ferrari replicas, as there is too much risk Ferraris Lawyers will turn up and shut you down.
