Got home last night and my wife is pissed and my son has been sent to his room. Guess they turned their back on him for a minute and he ran over and wrote on her car more. I'm pretty sure that will *not* happen again. She still doesn't want to file a claim so I've got my weekend project. I'll try to get better pics of the scratches before and after buffing.

Yeah well he's 3 and we didn't catch him the first time. It's hard to really punish him the next day. I'm pretty sure he's made the connection with it being a bad thing now.

Soul for sure. The amount of money it represents it way more than the truck could ever be. Plus, it is not like the truck's body is that nice.

That's actually not a bad idea. Show your son that he "hurt" the car, and it now needs a band-aid much like when he falls and scrapes his knee.

Might be something his 3yo brain can comprehend.

Or not. My youngest is 5 and still can't put 2 and 2 together some times.
