So I created a post a while back but guess I only posted it to my personal blog.. Well I would like to share that with the world now so I edited the post and published to oppo but in doing so it posted to the original time and date (back in may). My question is.. Is there any way to make the post jump and be shared as a new post instead of being buried behind months of new ones? I understand how that feature could be used for evil but seems that oppo might allow because I imagine anyone jumping their post maliciously is likely targeted and destroyed. :) Any help is appreciated options I have considered are simply copy pasting post to a new post or linking original in new post with similar title/lead photo.

Re-schedule it to post at a future date.

Cool thanks! Just tried set it to 2 minutes in the future see what happens.. I actually poked around with that before crying for help but honestly the way it was kind of grayed out when it was selected just seem like it wasn't an option.. Didn't realize that was just how it looks normally.

Yep, just remember to use a 24hr time instead of a 12hr time.

Now that you know of the dark magic of editing time stamps, tread carefully and only use it when ansolutely needed. We have already seen people bump up the same post over several days. Not cool! If you want to republish something, say so in a different post that includes a link to the original one. This obviously doesn't apply to this case, so this is just a little heads up.

100% agreed could see where this could be a problem but assure it is not my intention. Made the stupid post from my stupid mobile phone then forgot all about it. I recall a couple moths back some shenanigans with people post jumping. Not a fan of the abusers of any of these cool toys/tools for the community.

There will always be a minority who abuses the powers invested in them. As long as they stay a minority, we are safe.
