Especially when you have to fund a fleet of speed boats to put out fires in a badass fashion. It wouldn't be long before people forgot how to put out land locked fires. There would just be a bunch of beached speed boats that tried to make it to the fire.

This took place a couple of years ago at Lake Coleridge, a popular lake near my hometown of Christchurch, New Zealand. A colleague of mine allegedly saw this event unfold, and claims it was the most awesome thing he'd ever seen
