I like it! It'll be kind of difficult to tell if those headlights in the rear view mirror are a new Mustang or a police Taurus, though...

Those are properly beautiful. If the production car looks anything like that AND looses 400 pounds, I can't, for the life of me, see why anyone would buy a Camaro.

I dunno man. They should maybe change the grill, right now it reminds me too much of the Fusion, which as we all know, is a boring old mid-sized sedan. Ford doesn't want their mustang to look boring right?
Carrying over a grill from one car to another can really significantly effect the styling and over all feel of the car. Now the mustang just looks cheap.
(trollface, before anyone asks)

Well, the next-gen Camaro's going to be based GM's Alpha platform, so it's going to see some significant weight loss as well.

The Ford Fusion called. It wants Aston Martin's grille back.

The fusion isnt boring in my opinion though...

Looks like an SHO coupe. And that is a good thing.

Good to hear, lets hope that more cars follow suit too. Perhaps all is not lost in the war against model bloat?
I haven't heard much about the next Camaro. When is that supposed to be coming out?

It won't be landing at the same time as the Mustang - it'll land as a 2016 MY in 2015 (which makes sense given that the refreshed 2014 Camaros have only started hitting dealerships in the past two weeks). Production is moving from GM's Oshawa plant in Canada to GM's Lansing plant in the U.S.
Aside from those bits and the Alpha chassis underpinnings, that's all we know. I believe GM will be trying to break away from the retro mold as well.

Ahh GM, always a year or more behind the Mustang.
Honestly I think they're smart for it, even if it drives the Chevy guys nuts. It lets them see what their competition is going to look like before there's is finalized.

That headlight + grill combo looks like an SHO to me.

The 'Vette more likely than not has something to do with it. The LT1's not confirmed for the Camaro yet, and the C7 still has yet to make it into owners' hands. It makes sense that they'd want to delay it a bit, and I figure that an LT1-powered Camaro in the 3400-3600 lb range would be much closer in performance to the 3400-lb C7 than the current non-1LE SS is to the base C6.

That should be interesting to watch out for.

Japanese police car!?

Maybe because on the track, the 1LE kills the boss, and the ZL1 kills the GT500.
