I think I have asked this before but I'm going to ask it again, deal with it. I desperately need to give my car some loving and make it clean, as in clean clean not just hosing down all the mud off of it. If it is relevant at all, a large majority of my driving is on dirt roads. Basically I have a very limited amount of things, don't want to spend a lot and want to not order online.

Here is what I have already:

Buckets
Wheel Cleaner
Glass Cleaner
Microfiber towels (Maybe 12x12?)
Mothers Back to Black (used it once but not too amazed by results)

Here is what I plan on getting at the local Advanced auto:
Soap: I hear Meguiars Gold class is decent
A mitt of some sort: Either 100% sheeps wool or something else
Claybar: I think it only comes in some sort of kit not sure what else is in there
Wax: No idea here

I know there are polishes and all that too but I am doing everything by hand and don't want to invest in a DA quite yet. So any help with this list would be great so I'm not standing in my yard staring at a bunch of stuff that may or may not be right

To start read this:

Then watch these:

You have a good start.

Here's what I would recommend to pick up:

2 soft brushes, one for wheels, one with a long handle for wheel wells. Like these:

2" wide soft paint brush, also for wheels, to get corners and lug nuts.

Another wash mitt to clean the wheels.

Mequiars Gold Class Soap (I use this)

Mequiars QuikDetailer (adds gloss...spray it on your drying towel...saves time). BTW: it comes in a small bottle in the Mequiars Clay Bar kit.

Tire Gel (don't get the spray stuff...it gets all over your wheels[drip] and fenders[wheel sling])

Simple Green cleaner for wheel wells and exhaust tips(if you have/had shiny ones)

Bug and Tar remover spray

Bug and Tar remove "sponge": it looks like sponge with mesh over the top

I've used the Mequiars three step polish/wax system in the past, with good results. I've always done it by hand, no power tools involved.
