Finally got the transmission out today to see what all was ruined...to my surprise...
Just those two gears...everything else isn't bad at all!

weld/reinforce the diff, while ur in there.
also, which gear set is that 3rd? how did u manage to shred the dam thing? just missed a gear?

It is either 5th or reverse, we're not sure. And I'd only had it for 4 days when this happened, so tbh I doubt I did all that myself. I was cruising at 70 in 5th when it went, made a crazy loud bang.
