She just finished up her masters degree, and now she'll have time to go do agility and stuff again. She used to have a Honda Element but wants something smaller because we've transitioned to small dogs. I think I might have her talked into a Volvo 240 wagon.

Why not a clown shoe? :p
Plenty of space for a doggy in the back!
hahaha no really though, the 240 is great, and so is the newer V40 (early 2000's)

She refuses to learn to drive stick. Too bad too, because we already have a Clown Shoe IN STOCK.

The Elantra Touring comes to mind. Tidy little wagon. What's your budget?

This is her second car, just for hauling dogs around - hauling dogs in the Volt isn't optimal. I think $2500 is going to be the upper end for this purchase.

Oh, in that case, a 200 series sounds like a swell idea. I'll suggest older liftback Civics too, because why not.

Oh man, that sucks! Awesome that you have a shoe though. I'll get one if I can ever afford it.
But yeah, the V40is a great choice, and so would a Focus wagon.

How about something like this :

Nothing wrong with that.
I'm a little worried that there's probably some serious deferred maintenance on that though. If I build my 2nd garage with a lift though...
