If he doesn't keep bumping it, people will make more posts bitching about the change to the front page because it is very difficult to scroll down and see if anyone at all has had this thought before them.

I do not look forward to when it gets implemented here.

Agreed, the choice is (1) keep bumping Gamecat's post, or (2) start getting endless "OES NOES THE FP IS BORKED" posts. I would rather stick with option 1.

I understand the concern. If I could "promote" a post to remain at the top of the page for the day I would. I'm bumping it because otherwise we'll see a flood of posts about the front page. Like we did earlier this morning.

I should note that the reason I don't look forward to its implementation is not because I don't like it (I'll deal with it) but because all the comments that will be bitching about it will be annoying.
