Harry Metcalfe from EVO got a chance to drive the BMW i8 before it gets officially revealed at the Frankfurt Auto Show. He tries out the different driving modes of the car: electric, hybrid and sport, in both track and regular driving situations.
Being a pre-production car, it is showing a couple of bugs; especially annoying to Harry is the car automatically upshifting at the redline at the same time he wants to do it himself, resulting in a double upshift.
