I like the way they look all fins bolts and aluminum that can be polished. I like the fact your street car or race car can change it's rear ratio quickly in case you need to run your car at the salt. The history of using them in Hot Rods and race cars. And you can put rockets on them.

those don't appear to be floating axles, I'm sure they are safe, but putting a lot of power through a stressed axles...um...stresses me.

Cons: expense, the fact that entirely too few of them (read none) have PTO outputs for propellers, despite how practical that would be.
