Being a country music listener, I'd heard of Robin Thicke's Blurred Lines (and recognize the song), but before last night, I don't think I'd ever really listened to it. Then a friend showed me the music video...How the hell are boobs allowed on YouTube now in videos other than self mammogram checks? Not complaining, just wondering. Image to block thumbnail.

If it is presented as "art", nudity is allowed.
It is not an exact science, as other music videos with "art-y" boobs in it get pulled, even from established artists.

Wasn't there also some kind of outrage about the lyrics being incredibly misogynous?

IIRC, it was thought by some the lyrics "...I know you want it..." sounded a bit rape-y.

Yeah, and that stays. But Amanda Palmer's video gets yanked.

I had to click just to comment... should I be worried that you know self mammogram checks are posted to youtube and that they allow nudity?
