I know I am a heathen, but I don't mind Chevy Swaps in these cars. They are just to pretty to let rot.

I suppose, but there's something that just revolts when I think of a Chevy V8 in one of these.
Saying that, I'd rather half an XJS on the road than none. Plus, the supply of AJV8s is rather thinner on your side of the pond.

It's not so much that they are hard to come by, it's more about the cost of the part. Genuine Jaaag parts are not cheap items over here. It would never be as smooth as original,but some of those v8's can be made to run pretty smooth if you are willing to spend a little time on them.
