Me quitting Hot Wheels, that is. Yeah, I'm always doing that, quitting mainline Hot Wheels to focus on the higher end stuff, but then I first saw this group Picture of the first Cool Classics wave:

Kinja'd!!!

Then I saw this pic of the long, long overdue Alfa Romeo 8C, which was supposed to be released like 4 years ago

Kinja'd!!!

And now I found pictures of the new Corvette.

Kinja'd!!!

And that did it for me. I just can't pass this one up, there's no way a brand new Corvette from Hot Wheels isn't one of the best combos in toy history, I mean, they've been releasing their Corvettes with the real cars since the third generation! In fact, the C3 was revealed by Mattel before it was revealed by GM, that's how big Hot Wheels Corvettes are! Now I'm off to hunt all the 2013 New Models that I passe up because this Corvette is obviously gonna need company.

Agreed! This series is set to celebrate Hot Wheels' 45th anniversary, and it's shaping up to be as awesome as the Since '68 series was 5 years ago.

Do you have any 911 GT1 matchbox/hot wheels? I'm looking for any Porsche model, basically. Looking for the Speed Machines 1998 911 GT1, the Since 68 1996/7 GT1 (couldn't tell by the picture), any 962, any 917...

I have collected just about every real Hot Wheels/Matchbox that's come out since 08 for my daughter.... she has several hundred at the moment, all in a big laundry bag (yes, I know, collectors... I see you cringe there)
