My valve covers are back in place and it seems like it all came together nicely.
I replaced the old original valve cover gaskets with nice new Fel Pro rubber gaskets.
I have to say every time I open something up on this engine I just am amazed that at 45 years old everything is still so together, makes you appreciate the work and efforts of the guy on the line back in the 60's that put it together.
Time for some smokey burn outs!

I have a feeling it's going to get noticed (and pulled over) a lot more when the long tube headers and dual Super 44's go on it..
